KERA Ticket To Ride Raffle

Raffle Official Rules

Raffle tickets are $100 each, and only 2,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased online at kera.org/cadillac or by calling (214) 740-9225. Ticket sales begin Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10am CT and end Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11:59pm CT.

Employees of North Texas Public Broadcasting (NTPB), Sewell Automotive Companies, and any immediate family members residing with the employees are not eligible to participate. Additionally, members of the NTPB Board of Directors, NTPB Community Advisory Board, and any immediate family members residing with them are not eligible to participate. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.

The winning ticket will be drawn on Friday, April 12, 2024, and the winning ticket number will be posted at kera.org/cadillac on April 12, 2024 by 11:59pm.

Winner need not be present to win. Winner will be notified by telephone. Holder of the winning ticket will be required to present the ticket receipt and positive identification for verification.

The winning vehicle is a 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ. Vehicle cannot be converted to cash. Color subject to availability. Included with the LYRIQ is a Cadillac Dual Level Charge Cord, allowing the owner to charge at Level 1 (120-volt and up to 1.4kW) or Level 2 (240-volt and up to 7.7kW). Winner will also be offered, from Cadillac, a choice between 2 years of complimentary “EV Go” public DC Fast Charging or a $1,500 home installation credit through Qmerit (credit will go toward installation of a 240-volt wall plug or a wall mounted charger. It does not cover the purchase cost of a wall charger.)

Vehicle taxes, tags and title are the responsibility of the winner. Winner must complete Form W-9 and sign W-2G prior to delivery of the vehicle. Raffle ticket price is not tax deductible or refundable. Vehicle has an MSRP of $59,590. This amount, less $100 cost of winning raffle ticket, is taxable income to the winner. Prior to delivery, winner must remit cash payment of $14,277.60 to satisfy 24% of U.S. income tax withholding.

Winner must claim vehicle within 30 days of being notified. In the event a winner elects not to accept or claim the prize, NTPB will conduct a second drawing to determine a winner.
