Join KERA’s Krys Boyd together with NPR host and journalist Elise Hu for Think and Drink on June 22.

Elise Hu is a host-at-large based at NPR West in Culver City, Calif. Previously, she explored the future with her video series, Future You with Elise Hu, and served as the founding bureau chief and International Correspondent for NPR's Seoul office. She was based in Seoul for nearly four years, responsible for the network's coverage of both Koreas and Japan, and filed from a dozen countries across Asia.

Krys and Elise will discuss her Hu’s new book, “Flawless: Lessons in Looks and Culture from the K-Beauty Capital,” an audacious journalistic exploration of the present and future of beauty through the lens of South Korea's booming 'K-beauty' industry and the culture.

Tickets: $25. Includes admission to the event as well as 2 drink tickets before the discussion.

Time: Doors open at 6:00pm. The event begins at 7pm.
